Thanks for your interest in donating to our comic. Amaranthine Project: Avatar will remain free to read for as long as we host it online.

Because both the comic artists are full time collage students, the only time we have to make money to pay our bills during the school year is with commissions when we can find the time. Because we're spending most of our free work time on commissions, we are unable to spend it on Avatar, so our updates are slow. We also wish to collect enough money to set up a small online store to sell Avatar prints, bookmarks, buttons, journals and other various things so that we may someday be able to remove the donation option entirely (always better to get something in return no?).

Donations are really helpful in freeing up our time to get these things done. While we don't really expect much in way of donations, every little bit counts really.

(please note that because of the fees paypal takes from each transaction, donations under $2 don't stretch too far.)
